Rating: 4.5⭐️
This is a side book in the Empyrean series. It’s 13 stories taking place at Basgiath War College during Threshing Day for various characters and their dragons.
Each story happens at different timelines, which includes noted spoilers for certain books. Beautiful artful and dragon history at the beginning of each story just adds to the overall richness. Characters include Xaden Riorson, Rhiannon Matthias, Dain Aetos, Liam Mairi, Ridoc Gamlyn, Sawyer Henrick, Garrick Tavis, Imogen Cardulo, Bodhi Durran, Mira Sorrengail, Brennan Sorrengail, Aaric Graycastle, and Sloane Mairi.
Watching each of them on Threshing Day, as they meet and bond with their dragons is a variety of experiences, some incredibly bittersweet if you are familiar with the characters and series.
I definitely recommend it and enjoyed it. And loved the artwork.
Best read after Onyx Storm #3.
