My Inherited House Might be Haunted by AJ Sherwood is a cute, no angst paranormal romance. It originally came about as a serialized story on the authorās Patreon site but has been updated and expanded.
The characters are adorable, thereās a inherited haunted house, along with ghosts (a family of ghosts which we never meet unfortunately), brownies, witches everywhere!
Thereās so many interesting elements here pack together for a short story. Especially the familiars , a cat and puppy, that these characters never get fully developed into their elements. They are familiars in name only because theyāre recognized by others as such. But do they talk or do things that we think of as being something familiars do? No. They do things that our cats and dogs do just as adorably mostly.
The romantic relationship is fast and the book length just doesnāt leave them much time for development of magical skills, new knowledge of how magic works, or other relationship areas. But the characters, Rhett and Calix and Calixās family are so interesting that this story makes me wish for a sequel or expanded version.
Read My Inherited House Might be Haunted by AJ Sherwood for a delightful instant love paranormal tale!
I donāt know how I missed this first time around but Iām overjoyed to have discovered it now when it was re-released this May.
A delightful beautifully crafted urban fantasy story, it has such a great storyline, one guaranteed to draw the reader in.
It all starts with a hitman scoping out his target in a small coastal village, just after Christmas. A two person narrative, itās the assassin whoās first up in telling us his perspective on the events of that evening.
Heās really not prepared for anything heās seeing, but he has no choice.
Callum, our hit man, has been hired against his will to kill an innocent young man, if his and his partnerās research is to be believed.
Graysonās believable characterization of Callum, the tired killer desperately seeking another way out of this contract, is perfectly realized and raw. More so once he sees his actual victim and talks to him.
That would be Linden, a Fae walking or hiding in the mortal realm from the very person who wants him dead. Linden, a Fae cookās bastard son, has the unfortunate position of being the person named as the being a prophecy said would end an evil Lordās life. Needless to say, that Lordās not happy about it. And is trying to kill Linden.
Grayson has written a fantastic fantasy adventure story, one which has evil lords, magical powers, wonderful found family friends of both Fae and human kind, terrifying creatures, battles, and romantic love!
How an assassin and a Fae slay an evil lord, save a Kingdom, and find true love! Honestly, itās a fantastic story! With great characters! Iām so on board with assassins finding happiness these days.
And assassins ending up in another realm thatās made for them? Perfection. Itās not a new concept but Grayson has done an imaginative and wholly satisfying job here with it.
I certainly wouldnāt mind a return trip to see how everyone is doing. What a universe.
Iām highly recommending Brought To Light by Eliot Grayson for all lovers of urban fantasy and romance in general.
Callum always gets the job doneāwhether he likes it or notābut this job isnāt like any other. The targetās too young and pretty for comfort, and the clients are offering more threats than cash. And either the target poisoned his hot chocolate or heās going crazy, because magic trees are suddenly a thing. Itās really not his day.
Lindenās on the run, and the human realmās a good place to hide from evil sorcerers who think heās the answer to a prophecy. But his enemy has found a way to send a very human and very dangerous assassin after himāa man who could kill Linden with one hand. He should be terrified, but his knees go weak for all the wrong reasons.
When Lindenās family is taken hostage, Callum ought to be the last thing on his mind, but Linden canāt resist the chance to fulfill his deepest fantasies before sacrificing his own life. Callum knows he should walk awayāitās not his fight. But the beautiful fae is under his skin and now protecting Linden and his family feels more important than his own survival.
A human learning to feel. A fae learning to trust. Can two worlds merge into one true love?
This re-release of Brought to Light has a new cover and has been partially rewritten, but the characters and the ending are the same. This book contains explicit scenes, a magic flashlight, a prophecy that doesnāt quite work out the way anyone expects, and a guaranteed HEA.
Tavia Larkās Perilous Courts became a new favorite based solely on its first book, Prince and Assassin. That story had a depth of layering to its storylines that began with Whisper, a infamous Hound of the Kennel. Thatās a group of highly prized assassins owned by blood curse , since they bought or stolen at a young age, by a Blood mage. Their fees afforded only by the richest of men or rulers.
His background and that of some of the other Hounds provided a pathos and dimension to Whisper and the story that gave both his mission and romance a heft narratively speaking and made the novel sing with promise.
Prince in Disguise moves from Prince Julien to the youngest of the three princes of the Kingdom of Silaise. Thatās Prince Bellamy. Heās had a problematic history, having been kidnapped by his biological father when younger, and prone to headaches brought on by magic. Heās been away and now been sent for due to illness among his mothers. That we knew from the first story.
We get a reminder of his history and recap here, which is good because Bellamy wasnāt a big element in that story.
I throughly enjoyed this book. While lacking the depth and layers of the first novel, the sheer chemistry between the two main characters and the addition of a blinkmink as well as dragons more than compensates for it.
Itās a rousing grand tale!
Bellamy is completely different from Julien. Lark is able to bring us a young man whoās illnesses and trouble in adolescence has made his mothers and older brothers overprotective and solicitous to the point heās rarely alone . Until a weather related accident and a curious pet insures that he is.
Bellamy goes from scared, naive, unprepared Prince to a determined, self aware, brave individual in love. And we buy into it because weāve been there for the growth.
The same goes for Rakos Tem, dragonrider of House Dire. I canāt go into particulars because his situation is central to so many storylines but who he is, the development of their relationship, and his personality is just as remarkable.
Plus didnāt I say there were dragons?
My only issue here is that the dragons, their true nature and bond with their riders isnāt fully explored here as I would have expected or hoped for. Especially for such a exciting and popular element.
The dragon fights are plenty great though!
There are a few weak story threads that could be tighter and I hope that their potential will be used in another story.
Prince in Disguise (Perilous Courts #2) by Tavia Lark has much to recommend it. A couple with fantastic chemistry, a blinkmink, dragons, and the potential for more to come. Plus we got to see Whisper and Julien again.
Next is Audricās story and Bellamy falling in love has put him in a bit of a bind.
I canāt wait to see what happens.
So far , itās been a great journey. One Iām highly recommending! Read them in the order they are written.
Iām still hoping Lark will give us more on the Hounds of the Kennel. They have never left me for a second.
Perilous Courts:
ā Prince and Assassin #1 (Prince Julien and Whisper )
ā Prince in Disguise #2 – (Prince Bellamy and Rakos)
⦠Prince and Pawn #3 – Jan 30, 2033 (Prince Audric and Corin)
Rakos isnāt really a farmer. Bellamy definitely isnāt a minstrel.
Sheltered, sickly Prince Bellamy dreams of adventureābut not like this. Captured in enemy territory, his royal identity will get him killed. When his dangerously attractive fellow prisoner asks who he is, Bellamy claims to be a minstrel.
Except he canāt carry a tune to save his life. He panicked, okay?
Rakos was a dragonrider until betrayal landed him in chains. Now, he knows two things for certain: he canāt trust anyone, and he wants his dragon back. When the fragile minstrel asks who he is, Rakos claims heās a farmer. When Bellamy begs for help reaching the border, Rakos refuses.
Until he canāt resist how much Bellamy needs him.
Stormy nights and deadly masquerades forge Rakos and Bellamyās unlikely partnership into something more. Something exhilarating. Rakos treats Bellamy like a person, not a weak, untouchable prince, even as he protects him.
But Rakosās enemies are circling in, and that very protection might be Bellamyās undoing.
Prince in Disguise is a high fantasy gay romance, with double secret identities, Only One Bed, and a teleporting ferret. The Perilous Courts series is best read in order, but each book follows a different prince and his Happily Ever After.

Unless itās noted, all books reviewed have been purchased by the reviewer.
I was looking for a contemporary romance to read after finishing a urban fantasy, and picked up Boyfriend Goals by Riley Hart.
What a utter pleasure this was to read! Low angst, a plot driven by fully realized characters in situations that allows them to grow, finding home and true love in a totally relatable, real way.
I went to sleep thinking about Milo and Gideon, their happy life together, friends and family. And they are still with me now.
Hartās decision to have Milo be neurodivergent is a great one although it might spark some confusion or controversy. Milo is a wonderful character, whoās neurodivergence has effected his life since birth. Itās how he handles it now that will speak to the reader and Gideon.
As I understand it, neurodivergence ānow refers to any structured, consistent way that brains work differently for a group of people than they do for the majority of others.āThe sources I referenced many different types of neurodivergence, including Autism, which is referred to a couple of times here.
Iām not in touch with the author so Iāve no idea what Miloās character framework was when planning this story. Whatever it is works! Milo feels so believable and alive for me. His interactions with Gideon, and the others in the community are credible. Whether itās a new one on one situation or one thatās got Milo in a very stressful place, Hartās writing is so terrific that it easily conveys thatās this a real life event for him.
Gideon too is a beautifully layered person. His dynamics within his family and how itās worked through emotionally is heartwarming and heartfelt. Insecurities have no age limit and thatās especially true here.
Hart could have made Miloās mother more one dimensional instead we get a moving relationship, fundamentally strong with two people who love each other. Again, such a great element among many.
By the end of the story, I was absolutely in love with Milo and Gideon, their combined stores, INK & INK, their new lives together and their community. What a wonderful life!
What a grand story! And one Iām highly recommending!
I have been looking forward to this new release since the authorās announcement at the end of The Four Bears Construction series. Thatās where we met the men of Big Bull Mechanics Shop, the other automotive shop in town, other than Dareās, husband to Stone, one of the Four Bears.
Steeleās the owner of Big Bull Mechanics and half of the two POV narrative. Heās weighed down by the responsibilities of small business ownership, itās long hours and his own feelings making it hard on relationships . Plus, the fact heās always tasked with bailing out a 40 ish irresponsible younger brother.
His companion, his Husky puppy, Denali.
Dr. Porter Grant, Veterinarian, is our other perspective. Heās a character from Four Bears Construction series. There a intern , now heās graduated and a Licensed Vet with his own clinic . But Porter is also someone suffering from overwhelming issues hitting him. First time vet, beginning small time business owner, no social life. And a big corporation wanting to buy his clinic or threatening to put his small veterinary clinic out of operation. Thatās so much to handle on his own.
Nuehold makes us understand and completely relate to both men and the circumstances they find themselves in.
A one night stand that turns into awkward, clumsy meetings afterwards? Yup. Dates that donāt go as planned because one or both are just too exhausted to mentally or even physically show up? Yes. Nuehold gives us, and her wonderful characters, a firm foundation in every day reality. Steeleās late? Heās also covered in the appropriate grease and grime associated with working in a busy garage. Porterās on call with animal emergencies that sound exactly right for the season. Lost dogs found overheated from running around in the hot summer day.
Love this that both men are defined so perfectly by their personalities and refined by their love of their jobs.
Even their romance, halting as it is as they work their way through layers of responsibilities into a relationship, is worked out in believable steps, one small barrier crossed at a time. Even their sexual relationship, when they actually have time to have it, is extremely hot!
I found myself absolutely connecting to this couple, and their romance.
Plus each comes with a host of friends that can be considered found family. For Porter, heās adding a new one that Iām sure will have a story later on. Steeleās friends and brotherās books will follow as well. They are a interesting and wonderful bunch.
Iām looking forward to each and everyone getting their HEA!
Start here . Itās one Iām highly recommending.
I donāt have time for a relationship, not even with the adorably dorky vet I canāt seem to stop bumping into⦠*sigh * pass the oil and lube
Between running a garage full of beefed up, gear head mechanics and bailing my idiot brother out of trouble every other week, the last thing I have time for is a relationship.
Iāve tried it too many times, and the ridiculous reasons I always find to end it have become a running joke around the garage. But Iāve learned my lesson. No. More. Boyfriends.
I donāt care how many times Porter falls asleep drunk in my bed or how cute he looks covered in oil smears while I teach him how to fix up the vintage car he has rusting away in his garage, Iām not going to fall for him.
Even if I did, what do a mechanic and a veterinarian have in common anyway?
Itās better if weāre only friends⦠friends who occasionally fiddle with each otherās crankshaftsā¦
š¹Connected to The Four Bears Construction Company series.
Wicked Flame, the second half of the Chicago Heat series, literally picks up almost a sentence after the end of Wicked Heat. The flow between the two books is close to seamless, making it ideal for a binge read.
As the relationship progresses between Ryan and Jameson, so does the deeply buried emotional issues become even more apparent. Ones Jameson realizes he needs to look at and deal with in order to move forward.
The elements are heavy ones. And Frank takes care when having her characters move through these sensitive areas with realistic feelings and believable behavior. When Jameson finally has that all important discussion with his sister about her addiction, itās done for the right reasons and at the right time.
And all the scenes with Ryanās family and the competitive curling? Warm-hearted fun that you could see contributing as a new element in Jamesonās life. Acceptance and joy.
Everything here, emotionally, kept moving the men forward. Itās sexy, wonderful, beautiful, and romantic.
Especially that last scene. Be still my heart!
Treat yourself to a fabulous two book series! Chicago Heatās Wicked Heat and this, Wicked Flame!
Jameson Life is hard. I learned that at an early age growing up on the South Side of Chicago. I accepted it, even came to expect it. With a sister who was a constant source of worry, and a track record of losing anyone even remotely close to me, trouble seemed to follow me no matter where I turned.
Some people were born lucky. I was just born.
Thatās what I used to believe, anyway, until GQ. The gorgeous guy in the fancy clothes who for some reason decided to look twice at me. He gave me a place to call my own, a space to feel safe, and he made me believe in the impossibleāthat love was more than just a four-letter word.
Ryan Life is unexpected. I learned that just recently when I walked into a bar on the South Side and found the love of my lifeāJameson Clarke.
Heās everything Iāve always wanted, and yet somehow even better than I imagined. Heās brave, brash, protective of those he loves, and under all that bravado is a vulnerability that calls to my very soul.
Jamesonās a storm cloud, but he thinks Iām the sun. If thatās true, then Iām determined to break through the shadows of his past and steal his heart the way heās stolen mine.
Wicked Flame is book two in Ryan Carrigan & Jameson Clarke’s story and should be read after Wicked Heat.
At the end of the fabulous Sinister in Savannah trilogy Walker let us know that she planned to write further stories in this universe. Specifically, oneās for some of our favorite secondary characters that deserved a HEA and full out storyline.
Mentioned were Kendall Blakemore, aka Sugar, who was Jonahās ex and renter. Kendall got his HEA in a marvelous novel, Bad at Love! Now a favorite of mine.
Next on Walkerās list was Jimmy Alsop. We met Jimmy as an aspiring, but insecure journalist just starting at the newspaper where grumpy investigative reporter Felix Franklin (Mr. Perfect #2) lives to write, report and occasionally terrorize those around him. Felix took him on as a intern, then put him into a sort of Felix boot camp to build up his self image and ability to become a better reporter. Yes, we fell into love with the sweet, blushing Jimmy there. And it carries over into his story here.
Invisible Strings is Jimmyās romance. By now, Jimmy has become a stronger reporter, bit more able to stand up for himself and his ideas then the younger Jimmy we originally were introduced to. Although it still helps to have Felix mentoring him as well as his backup.
Although older here, Jimmyās innocence and exuberance is so adorable yet never overdone. Walker feeds us the type of adolescence and family history that led into Jimmy becoming the type of sheltered person he is without being someone whoās totally withdrawn and shy.
The stories Jimmy is seeking to do for his newspaper is the perfect format for the author to show the characterās interactions with others. Whether itās someone whoās personality is fascinating or a person whoās situation seems troubling, itās Jimmyās humanity that the author gets to shine out in every occasion.
Nova, the astronomer, whoās mother is part of Jimmyās series of stories, is equally fascinating. Heās divorced, single dad, with issues heās dealing with, and a overwhelming attraction to a innocent journalist that is the last thing he expects or thinks he needs.
The invisible strings of the title are those that connect people whether we see them or feel them at first. Itās those strings that just keep pulling people back together, time after time.
Fate, stars⦠whatever you might call it.
Or a list that someone makes up to get done over a two week time frame.
This is a wonderful love story, made better by those characters that surround the two men and support them with their love. Itās family, or co- workers, and friends. We get to know them all.
My only slight issue is with the drama at the end thatās a ācrisis ā element. That felt a tad forced given the two men, how well they communicated, and how easily it was resolved.
Overall, I adore Jimmy and Novaās romance. Such a winner!
I believe we have another story/ romance to come. A bartender? Following the pattern it should come or be tied to Pretty Poison #3, from the Sinister in Savannah series. Hmm maybe Iāll just have to reread those. Sigh!
Iām highly recommending this, Bad at Love and the original series. The author, obviously, as well. Enjoy!
Note: love that cover and the watercolor lighthouse at the top of every chapter! Beautiful.
Jimmy Alsop, a vivacious journalist, longs to trade his sheltered life for a summer of adventure but lacks the confidence to launch his stellar plan.
Lonely as the Moon
Nova Skye, an aloof scientist, wants to resuscitate his dead love life but hasnāt found the right man to kickstart his guarded heart. Eclipse of the HeartSparks fly when a chance encounter drops Jimmy and Nova into the same orbit. Though their approach to life and love couldnāt be more different, theyāre inexplicably drawn together as if connected by an invisible string.
With nothing to lose but their inhibitions, Jimmy and Nova embark on an epic adventure of discovery. Passions soar with the sultry Savannah temperatures, and soon, their carefree summer becomes something more profound and beautiful than either man bargained for. But are the ties that bind sturdy enough to withstand a lifetime, or will they fray after a season?
Invisible Strings is a standalone novel within the Sinister in Savannah universe. Jimmy was introduced in Mr. Perfect, but it is not necessary to read that book first. Invisible Strings is a contemporary romance, where the other Savannah books are romantic suspense. We have heat, humor, and heart, but there are no homicides in this book, yāall. Invisible Strings contains mature content and is intended for adults eighteen and older.
No-Strings Noel by Annabelle Jacobs is a nice Christmas romance. The characters and storylines are sweet and there is little to no angst to the plot or obstacles to the relationship.
For me, Iād hoped for something a little more substantial, like not having to refer to my notes to remember characters names because after reading this story it was simply gone from memory.
The premise of a man (turns out two) recently out of a unworkable relationship going on a holiday and finding love is a great trope. I always look forward to see how each author puts their own spin on it. While there were some unusual elements here, none of them really gelled for me in this story, including the couple.
It starts off with the location being a family oriented park with housing , read tons of kids and kid focused activities/rides. Huge playgrounds, pools, indoor courts for badminton etc. Everything an active family could want. But a couple of young gay singles? Hmmmm ok⦠possibilities.
However, it sort of turns dudly ( yes I mean dudly⦠made that up from so dull and deadly) because of the personalities involved and the sheer lack of energy i felt coming from the dynamics between them. No chemistry, at least thatās my pov.
Henry , admittedly unhappy about his breakup, is a bit of a pill. Even after trying for a better attitude, his character never quite recovers. He stays an apologetic (on the inside) insecure man. Henry delayed college because he wanted to work for the money to pay for it so he wasnāt bogged down by students debt. Now heās getting a later start. Instead of the author making us or me connect to him by infusing him with pride for his achievements at his age and determination, she left him a bit of a needy mess. So I stayed firmly outside any emotional attachment to him.
The other didnāt fare that much better. Dom is also coming off a broken relationship. One he says heās from be with. Hint, heās not. But this is a guy who, who unlike Henry, comes to this place on purpose. Heās ready to settle down, wants the ring and kids, dog and white fence or itās British equivalent. Heās got his house already. Heās next level with an eye on relationship goals and stability. Day one and Domās holding hands and had a schedule. And thinking he really likes Henry.
Ok⦠my thoughts were.. Henry why arenāt you runningā¦awayā¦yikes!
Nope they are a couple for the entire holiday.
And I felt nothing for either of them.
Only when they reconnect afterwards did I become more involved. But, it was not ever a relationship I was invested in nor were these men.
For me, the author never made me believe in their relationship, romance, or even potential HEA, especially that epilogue.
If you are the type to read every Holiday story thatās released this season, hereās another for you! Or if youāre a fan of this author, you might want to pick this up. If youāre new to Annabelle Jacobs, check out her shelf, she has plenty of books Iād recommend.
Happy Holidays!
Synopsis:
A week of no-strings fun in a winter wonderland setting. No consequences, no expectations, no hurt feelings. Right?
Henry:
Finding his boyfriend in a compromising position leaves him with a week off work and no holiday to go on. A night of vodka, ice cream, and his sisterās sympathetic ear is the only way to deal with it. Itās also how he finds himself on holiday alone a few weeks later, at an English holiday village in the countryside, surrounded by Christmas cheer and happy families.
Heās expecting a week of relaxing days and early nights, doing his own thing, and taking some time for himself. And hopefully finding some festive spirit along the way, because itās sorely lacking at the moment.
What heās not expecting is Dom.
Dom:
Coming to somewhere so familiar soothes his broken heart after yet another failed attempt at finding someone to settle down with. Heās ready. They never are.
Seeing a lost-looking stranger on the first day of his holiday triggers his protective instincts, so he steps in to give him some helpful advice. Who knew that advice would mean they end up spending the day and then the whole week together? But he figures a holiday fling is exactly what he needs to get through this slump: no expectations, no misunderstandings, no heartbreak. Or that was the plan. He knows Henry wants more, but he doesnāt trust himself where his heartās concerned. He doesnāt trust Henry not to break it.
A Christmas MM romance featuring a meet-cute, a sexy holiday fling, a meddling but awesome sister, a teeny bit of angst, and a festive HEA.
Ever read a book that feels like all your favorite Hallmark movies gathered together with extra helpings of the sounds of carolers and the sight of fresh falling snow on Christmas Eve? Well, if you havenāt before, you will once youāve read the heartwarming holiday romance Christmas Wish List!
N.R. Walker returns to that most Hallmark like of small towns, Hartbridge, Montana for her second and, honestly my favorite novel, in her Hartbridge Christmas series. A series that finds out of place Aussies stumbling into a Christmas wonderland and their HEA . Ok sighing again
Walker created a remarkably believable Hartbridge in her first novel in this series, Tic-Tac Mistletoe Christmas We learned about its families, itās stores, itās diners, itās community and traditions.
I was ready to grab up a plane ticketā¦itās so real.
Now we return with chef Jayden Turner. Heās been hired as a new B&B chef through the holidays, which happens to be n Hartbridge.
A Aussie whoās been rootless and now wants a home is coming into a place that will fill him with wonder , warming him with magical Christmas scenes that bring home the holiday spirit and a place where suddenly it starts to feel like home.
A huge part of that is Carter āCassā Campion and his renovated grand house, Arabella Manor. Cass is a man whoās poured his heart into this renovation and new business but he needs assistance . Cass also has a personal issue heās dealing with thatās causing him enormous guilt and isolation. Help for everything arrives in the form of Jayden.
I canāt begin to tell you how right Walker gets their relationship . How believable it is as they navigate first their working and personal relationship then as they move through each manās issues by communicating and effort to arrive at their HEA.
I DID NOT want this to end. I absolutely fell madly in love with Jayden and Cass.
That I adore Hartbridge goes without saying, more of Carl, his diner, and the community.
Plus of course, thereās our other couple too. Canāt forget Hamish and
Ren from Tic-Tac Mistletoe Christmas. Love them too.
So yes. Need a book or two to make you sigh happily, grab for the hot chocolate, and maybe want to listen for the sound of tiny silver bells?
These are must reads for the holidays or any time of the year! I highly recommended them both.
āļøHart ridge Christmas series:
ā Tic-Tac Mistletoe Christmas #1
ā Christmas Wish List #2
Synopsis:
In need of work and a change of scenery, Aussie ex-pat Jayden Turner agrees to a short-term chef position at a Bed and Breakfast over the Christmas holidays. After all, how hard could it be in a small town in the mountains of Montana? What he finds is a grand old house in a beautiful town, and his new boss is gorgeous, gay, and single.
After his divorce, Carter āCassā Campion bought his great-auntās rundown country manor in his home town, and heās determined to get it ready for the busy holiday period. Recently out as gay, heās been focused solely on his business and hasnāt had time for a man. Not that many gay men come through Hartbridge . . .
As his new clients arrive, and being away from his two kids, celebrating Christmas is the last thing on Cassās mind. But his new chef has other ideas. And if thereās one thing on his Christmas Wish List this year, Jayden can make it come true.
Itās been a while since the first novel where I encountered Harlow (he of the movie Meet Cute) and Teddy but it only took a sentence or two before the effervescent Low and the steadfast Teddy came happily alive once more.
This time the now together pair is leaving sunny LA for the snowy temps of Minnesota and a Christmas with Teddyās family. Itās Lowās first time meeting them and at a major holiday at that.
What could go wrong?
Neuhold brings us a delightful heartwarming story, filled with family, Holiday gathering and festivities, as well as a bit of angst when Teddyās mother slow to warm up to Low. Neuhold gently explores a realistic, loving mother/son relationship and the changing dynamic when one brings home their āforever loveā. I so enjoyed watching the family, Tedās mother and the men navigate what could have been a awkward holiday but instead turns out to be a very happily memorable Christmas.
Operation Meet the Parents is a well written holiday romance centered around an established wonderful couple, two highly delightful men, each with a secret mission and special gifts for each other. Thereās so much laughter, tremendous characters, some sexy fun, and a ton of love of all types, romantic and that of family.
In short, just a terrific story and a great Christmas sequel for Low and his Teddy Bear. Iām really hoping that Neuhold will give us their wedding and a welcome reunion with both families and friends.
Both books are just a delight and Iām absolutely recommending both. Read one, then this heartfelt lovely Christmas tale.
Operation HEA series:
Operation Meet Cute #1
Operation Meet the Parents #2
Synopsis:
Teddy is ready to pop the question, but can he find the perfect movie-moment proposal for Harlow? And more importantly, will Low survive meeting the parents? Oh, the joy of Christmas.
A missed connecting flight, inappropriate winter attire, and a kitchen fireā¦it wouldnāt be Christmas without some complications, right?
I know Harlow is desperately trying to impress my family, but Iām a lot more concerned about coming up with a proposal worthy of his Hollywood dreams. That is if he doesnāt burn the house down first.
Thereās nothing like the holidays with family. Fa la la la laā¦.
***Operation Meet the Parents is a 25K word novella companion to the full-length novel, Operation Meet Cute. Donāt miss this warm and fuzzy, all-the-Christmas-feels, steamy story.
