Heather Fawcett is another new discovery for me and this story delivers a richly crafted tale of hidden identities, a King whose throne is in peril, feuding gods and a beautifully executed universe. And the priestess who waits at the gates for the King’s Inquisitor to arrive.
It’s 44 pages of amazing characters, mysterious magical mazes, old and new gods, and a fabulous twist at the end. So so great and satisfying.
That you get both the ebooks and audio at the same time is a real bonus.
I grabbed this one first because of its description and that marvelous cover. Now I’m going back for the rest of this collection.
